Reforms of 1991-96 were authored by me!
The reforms of 1991-1996 were authored by a political team of myself who prepared the blueprint in 1990-91, and which was pushed through and thus implemented by the political sagacity of the then Prime Minister Narasimha Rao. Mr. Manmohan Singh as Finance Minister and Montek Singh Ahluwalia as Finance Secretary then were sincere team players at the administrative level. But they were political zeroes. Hence since the UPA today lacks a daring political team like that of Rao and myself, no reforms are possible.

I'll take Hashimpura massacre to International Court of Justice!
Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, urging him to take action against the perpetrators. The Inquiry Report that was made available after several years indicted the U.P. PAC, naming the Commandant who led the brutal killings in cold blood on May 22, 1987. However, he says, no action was ever initiated by the Union or State government against those responsible. India’s stand against Sri Lanka was due to her (Sonia)continuining sympathy with LTTE cause !
Asian Tribune: How can India take a stand along with countries who tries to whitewash to LTTE and India voting with those countries who tries to safeguard the killers of Rajiv Gandhi?
Dr. Subramanian Swamy: The UPA government is driven by Ms. Sonia Gandhi. According to me she is a suspect in Rajiv's assassination and because of her past association with the Habash group of Palestinians, who had trained the LTTE first, she has continuining sympathy with the LTTE cause. Hence the explanation for India's stand.

He (Nithyananda Swami) should sue the Sun TV for criminal invasion of privacy!

The ‘bare’ question here is: Even if the video tape is not forged, what law under the IPC has Swami Nityananda broken?
The actress involved has not denied that whatever transpired with the Swami has been with her consent, nor any ‘bhakta’ come forward to file a formal complaint for breach of trust. Therefore the Swami should sue the Sun TV for criminal invasion of privacy.
He need not of course take note of the protests organized by Periyar DK whose claim to morality if tested against what many of the Dravida Movement leaders are doing every day, and have done in the past, would make their protests on morality laughable.
Of course, if the tape is genuine, then Swami Nityananda, like Rishi Vishwamitra, should do prayaschit (penance) for his indiscretion and violating the moral law.
Team Anna behaving like Naxalites!
Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today alleged that Team Anna was behaving like "Naxalites" as they were "not keen on solutions" and instead bent on dragging the issue of corruption.
"Though Anna Hazare is spreading the anti-corruption movement and wants a strong Jan Lok Pal Bill to tackle the menace, his team members are behaving like Naxalites," Swamy told newsmen, here today.
"Team Anna was not keen on solutions but dragging the issue and was more interested in defaming the system," he said.
He also targeted Kiran Bedi, without naming her, and said, "some Magsaysay award winners...Are not the only intellectuals in the country to teach the rest."
